I, Sunil Chander Sharma, a Civil Engineer from Delhi College of Engineering (now DTU), began my career in 1981 with excellent grade companies in the Gulf and Middle East. During this journey, I realized a tremendous need to improve the selection of skilled manpower, as India’s vast workforce often lacked the quality required by global standards. Addressing this gap was essential to strengthen the image of Indian skilled workforce and to benefit overseas clients.
With this vision, I founded Suntech Engineers & Contractors (SEC) in 1990-to connect skilled manpower with global opportunities and contribute to growth and development worldwide. I have always believed that people are the true drivers of progress, and SEC was built to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity. Over the years, SEC has grown into one of India’s leading overseas recruitment companies, recognized by the Ministry of External Affairs and trusted by 750+ clients globally.

While serving as a Project Manager in the construction industry, I witnessed firsthand how poor recruitment led to project delays, safety issues, and increased costs.
